The 2011 UCTC Student Conference, February 24-25, 2011 at UC Berkeley

Jose Gomez-Ibanez, the Derek C. Bok Professor of Urban Planning and Public Policy at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design and the John F. Kennedy School of Government, to deliver the 2011 Melvin Webber Lecture, honoring UCTC's first director. Thursday, February 24, 6:30-9 pm, in the Main Hall at the UC Berkeley Faculty Club.

"Parking: Innovative Practice and Policy" brings together leaders from the private, public, and academic fields to discuss what cars do the 95% of the time that they are not being driven. Featuring Tod Dykstra, Donald Shoup and Jay Primus; moderated by Susan Shaheen. Friday, February 25, 9:30-11 am, in the Ballroom of the UC Berkeley Faculty Club.

Undergraduates Welcome! Reimbursement opportunities especially for undergraduates are available for those who submit a one-page writeup about their experience at the conference. Deadline for submissions: March 18. Additionally, partial travel reimbursement (approximately $150) for those traveling from Southern California. To qualify, you must register in advance. Finally, consider joining the Undergraduate Mentor Program. Fill out a mentee interest form and email it to [email protected] with the subject "Undergraduate Mentor Program."
